Fenmarc was established as a farming co-operative 40 years ago by growers across East Anglia. The business is now privately owned, with sales in excess of £80 million. Fenmarc is established as one of the leading fresh produce suppliers in the UK, employing over 400 colleagues.

From growing, preparing and packing, right through to the support services we provide, we work hard to exceed our customers’ expectations in all areas of the business.

Raw Material Supply

Our long established relationships, often working with third generation grower/suppliers at the heart of our supply base, ensures we have access to excellent land and a genuine depth of knowledge and expertise honed over several generations. By working in partnership with our growers we have been able to drive varietal development and yields that benefit the supply chain from grower to customer.

We have a sustainable and committed approach to pesticide management, allowing us to maintain customer confidence and at the same time, offers our grower base sustainable alternatives for application.

Prepare and Supply

We pack high quality fresh produce and prepare unique combinations of vegetables specifically to our customers’ requirements, on time every time. We’re experts in manufacturing, proud of the investments we’ve made in our production facilities and our use of lean manufacturing techniques. We are flexible in supply, with a ‘can-do’ approach to business, regularly challenging existing systems in order to deliver competitive advantage to our clients.

Our flexible, proactive and positive approach to business drives us to supply a consistently high level of service to our customers, large or small. At Fenmarc, colleagues are encouraged to innovate. From growing and packaging to recipe and preparation tips, and from market analysis to organising in-store product promotions, whether branded or own label, we pride ourselves on strengthening the whole produce category for our customers.
