A FRESH APPROACH TO PRODUCE

Congratulations to our Long Service achievers

On 4th March 2011 Fenmarc celebrated the achievements of twenty colleagues who received Loyalty Awards for ten, fifteen and twenty years of service with the company.

As part of Fenmarc's ethos, colleagues contributions to the business are recognised personally by our management and people teams annually. Investment in our colleagues is one of our core business values and the loyalty awards are a great demonstration of this.

This year's celebrations took place at Oundle Mill Restaurant, Northamptonshire where colleagues enjoyed a delicious meal and discussed the parts they had played within the business over the years. After receiving a gift presented by Richard Anderson (Managing Director) as well as a hamper of chocolates, wine and flowers, a raffle was also held for a colleague to win a night's stay at Oundle Mill hotel.

Colleagues celebrating long service awards this year were:

Mark Taylor, Beverley Garret, and Carol Hayes all achieved a 20 year Loyalty Award.

15 years have been served by; Emma Baker, Abdesselam Elamrati, Edward Kightly, Adrian Carter, and Richard Claxton.

10 year achievements for; Tina Baglietto, Rachel Killingback, Julie Briscoe, Stephen Brown, Terence Briggs, Oliver Templeman, Steve Curson, Marina Koroleva, Elisabeth Watson, Alexander Jones, Jean Gutteridge, and John Marshall.

And here's what some of our colleagues had to say about working for Fenmarc over the past years.

Mark Taylor - Agricultural Director

As I am now in my 21st year with the business you won't be surprised to hear it has changed a lot! My personal experience is one of great variety, I truly don't think I have had two days the same and that I find very exciting.

Many businesses talk about people being their most valuable asset. The great thing about Fenmarc is that this can be seen and felt every day. The values by which the business is run belong to all colleagues equally; it's not just about doing business, but the way we do it!

It's very simple for me - I enjoy what I do and the people I work with and that makes it a great place to work

Emma Baker - Planning Leader

I joined Fenmarc part time in order to run my first car whilst at college.....who'd have guessed I'd still be here 15 years later

Clear direction, goals, drive, communication, along with its values and beliefs, makes Fenmarc an incredible company to work for. Colleague wellbeing is also high on the list of priorities: professional and personal development, health and safety focus, celebratory lunches, fun days, regular communication meetings are just a few examples of this.

I am pleased to have been working for such a great and successful business for so many years and I hope to see many more!
