Growing for Gold: Potatoes for Schools Update
With the schools planting season now two months past, Potato Pete has been having a sneak peek at our schools potato plants to see how close they are to growing the biggest crops!
Look at how well schools in the South East have done...
Clenwarton Primary Gardeners Club, whose potato plants get a thumbs up from Potato Pete, said 'Potatoes are no longer boring things we get from the supermarket. They are healthy, interesting to grow and fun to eat. We love potatoes!'
Harvesting begins on 21st June! Watch this space to find out which school achieves first place in the South East regional competition!
