A FRESH APPROACH TO PRODUCE
Gold Stars for Fenmarc Produce following our brilliant recycling efforts!
Fenmarc have once again been awarded a 'Gold Star' by the National Recycling Stars Scheme for their recycling programme this year.
During 2011 we recycled a total of 19.3 thousand tonnes of waste which included, composting and wood chippings, water to land replenishment, recycled wash water and active in house recycling. This means that we recycled over 99% of all products used within the business, which we think is a fantastic result
This is the second year that we have been recognised for our recycling efforts. As a business, the environment is very important to us and our policy is an extension of our respect for the individual and our goal of profit with integrity.

Our wider environmental strategy is on track with building work underway on an Anaerobic Digestion plant at our site in March, Cambridgeshire.The plant will take up to 30,000 tonnes of both packaged and unpackaged food waste per annum, diverting it from landfill and providing further recycling possibilities for local businesses in the area.
